what's needed

ok, just a heads up.  I've been hoping for a new release for a while, 
but two things have been blocking it.  The first has been the fact that 
there really is no fulltime release technician for this project at the 
moment, so if someone wants the job, please step forward, shout, put 
your hand up, whatever.

The second is gpgme.  While we weren't looking (and we really weren't), 
gpgme moved from the 0.x version club to the 1.0 version club, and with 
that, our code broke.  Ok, we can still use the compatibility package, 
but how long is that going to last, and personally, I'd be more 
comfortable going with the stable version.

So, if anyone wants to work on porting our code to use gpgme, please 
try.

I'm on vacation right now, at home, and at my own PC, so chances are 
I'll work on stuff.  I'll try and get the gpgme thing working, but help 
is welcome.  If the code is ready before the first half of this week, i 
can make a release, else someone else will have to.
