Hey Ashish, thanks for your interest. I've been looking for someone to do this for many years. The .po/.pot files are all available in CVS, so you can pull them out of there. There's only one issue. The HEAD branch of CVS is on gtk1.2, and you won't be able to get devanagari working (I've tried). What you need to do is checkout the gtk2-port branch, and do your testing there. If you're not too sure about building the gtk2 port (and it's not completely stable yet), then just pull the .po files from HEAD, modify them, and mail them back to the list.
