I tried to join #wordpress on irc.freenode.net and
ayttm crashed on me. I am using the deb unstable package.

I'm not able to reproduce this bug on the new code base. Of course, a lot
has changed in 3 years so I guess  whatever it is must have taken care of
itself :)

Please upgrade to the latest code (main branch or the gtk2-port branch)
and let me know if you're still experiencing the same problem.
