Initial Comment:
Unable to build ayttm 0.5.0-6.  Build fails when ld is unable to find -lXss.  This is using Sourcemage GNU/Linux with everything build from source and xorg 6.9 monolithic.

You don't have libxss (X11 screensaver extension library) installed. Since
you've built everything from source, you'll need to find out if you've
built libxss in the first place. You can search for libXss.so* to find out
if you have the libXss library installed.
