Summary: jabber login does not complete

Initial Comment:
I am running 0.4.6 and I don't seem to be able to log
into a jabber
account. I can log into AIM, Yahoo and MSN, but jabber
just sits there
with the Logging into Jabber account box and the status
bar moving back and forth like a mocking Ceylon.

I tried with gnome-jabber and I was able to log in, and
it showed me as
logged in as ihtruelsen-/[email protected]/ayttm. However, I
cannot contact the ayttm user.

Attached is the debug output.

I've put in the fix into CVS. We weren't putting in any connect server by
default, hence you'd be trying to connect to nothing ;)

I have the same problem as well.

The progress box is hanging around forever. Sometime a
message box saying that I am disconnected from jabber.org
come up. I can login using the same user name and passphrase
with other client, such as gaim.

I use ayttm 0.4.6 on Red Hat 9.
