Summary: issues when removing a tab from chat

Initial Comment:
2 (minor) bugs related to removing a tab from a tabbed
chat window.  

1: the window title does not reflect the new foreground
tab -- it still shows the info for the tab that was
removed.  

2: tabs turn red when they are in the background and
receive a message... but if a background tab becomes a
foreground tab by way of removing the current
foreground tab, the text stays red.  (am i making sense?)
