Hi guys, Thanks to Siddhesh for fixing some bugs, and IRC is now working fine. I am the creator and lead developer for Puppy Linux. Puppy is a tiny distro, just 84MB live-CD, yet with all the apps you need. The tiny size has many advantages, like when boot off a CD, loads totally into RAM and the CD drive can then be used for other purposes. Or, a networked thin station, Puppy again loads into RAM, no hard drive needed. Running in RAM, Puppy is extraordinarily fast. Enough of the sales pitch. This beta1 does have some bugs, that I'm fixing. Like, I didn't realise that Ayttm needs the '.la' files to be able to recognise the plugins. So, I have provided those as an extra file. The first feedback is that Yahoo does not work. Apparently Yahoo has changed from April 2 2008. It would be great if you guys could look into that. So, it's looking like Ayttm is going to be the flagship chat application in the next Puppy, baring any major bug and hopefully Yahoo working again. Puppy is very easy to use, just download the liveCD ISO file, burn to CD and boot from it.
