Hello All, As there are those of us who hope to get Ayttm? included in Puppy Linux as the default chat client snd we mostly use IRC ( chatroom #puppylinux on irc.freenode.net ), I have been trying to tune up the IRC section of Ayttm? . I've been chatting on IRC with bluesmoon - asking and receiving invaluable advice. I have been trying to make the auto login to chat room work. I had been checking the box that says join at login but it did not seem to have any effect. I have made some changes to offline_queue_mgmt.c. The diff file is attached. Bluesmoon says that with my changes he always gets auto logged in. My own results are more random, although I sometimes get autolog. I suspect Ayttm? recognizes bluesmoon by his keyboard touch and remembers him fondly ( he is a former Ayttm? developer ), and treats him better than me. Bluesmoon insists that if I wish to contribute to Ayttm?'s progress, I must send the diff file so it can be committed and built upon. Otherwise my changes would be useless. I hope this helps, George ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace.
