Using Puppy Linux 4.1 alpha4
started Ayttm and attempted to enter details for IRC username and server.

Ok, looks like I probably fixed the wrong bug and closed this one. In any
case, the fix to your issue is now in CVS under the libirc-mod branch.

Thanks Paul, 

I've fixed this now. It's a bit tricky though. I had to unload all
protocol modules, create an IRC account and then reload the IRC protocol
plugin, which gave me some error messages. Subsequently, when I tried to
connect, ayttm crashed on me.

The fix is in now CVS under the libirc-mod branch.

Hi Siddhesh -- 
The entire content of the crashlog is in my original submission -- there
is not more than that.
I have attempted to reproduce this but have been unable to do so. It is
running in an alpha release of Puppy Linux so it is possible it is not an
ayttm problem.
It occurred when I first started up ayttm. I had gone thru preferences and
unloaded all chat modules except IRC. Then attempted to enter my IRC nick
for Freenode; clicked OK -- got a couple of informational messages that I
was not entering it in the right format;  it was then ayttm crashed and
gave me the message to send in a bug report, so that's what I did. 
Unless other users experience the problem too it may be a one-off.

reproduce this bug? Also, please attach the
