Unable to log on to Yahoo Messenger using Ayttm

I am using the Hardy Heron version of Ubuntu. I can log in using
Foxfire; however attempting to log in using Ayttm 0.5.0-10 returns
"Could not log into Yahoo service due to unknown state:1" and "Yahoo
System Message: This version of Messenger expired on April 2,
2008. Please upgrade now to latest supported version:
http://messenger.yahoo.com Learn more: http://messenger.yahoo.com/eol"

Unable to download latest addition.  Your assistants much appreciated.
