Category: MSN Group: None >Status: Closed >Resolution: Out of Date Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Jacob Lee Anawalt (janawalt) Assigned to: Colin Leroy (colinleroy) Summary: MSN wont finish logging in Initial Comment: MSN logs in far enough to transfer my contacts, but then a dialog showing that it's trying to connect to one of the messenger servers other than the primary that it hits first and it will stay there for hours (longest I've waited is two hours.) and won't stop until I click cancel. I've attached the output from the console when trying to connect w/ MSN debugging turned on. Phone numbers have had the digets changed to #. I don't know why phone numbers are in the contact list. I don't remember ever having a field to add phone numbers. I have had mobile contacts, but one of the numbers is not a mobile (cell) number. The login fails with both the current debian unstable version and the latest source from sf.net (downloaded and installed tonight). Both are version 0.4.5-1. I've talked with another ayttm user on irc#debian, and they were using MSN just fine, so there is probably some issue with my contact list or something. I am running from behind another linux box that is a gateway using iptables nat. I don't think that's an issue. It hasn't had a config change in ages and everybuddy worked before October. Gaim works currently. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Siddhesh Poyarekar (siddheshp) Date: 2009-09-21 16:03 Message: The bug report is outdated and the issue may have been fixed in the current version of ayttm. Please open another ticket if that is not the case. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Francesco (fr4nk) Date: 2004-02-18 20:30 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=750458 Same problem here with ayttm 0.4.6-1 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=550744&aid=877368&group_id=77614 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Come build with us!
