UI for message-formatting

Hi,

Does any one working on UI stuffs?

As far as I played with ayttm i didnt find any UI for message
formatting, so I tried to write(I started learning GTK programming for
this :-D), I am having few doubts regarding to that

* Should i use a button->table[bold_button(0,1,0,1),
italic_button(0,1,1,2), underline_button(0,1,2,3), etc.,] in that
instead of {bold, italic, underline, ...}button should I use {bold,
italic, underline,...}toggle_button?

* Is there any specific standards to follow while creating UI for ayttm?

* Should I need to create a separate file like
ayttm/src/message_format.{c,h} or to add in message.{c,h} for creating
message formate

Please correct me if I am wrong, and forgive me for making only noise,
ill show the code as soon as possible(busy with exams :-( )
