Sorry, I had not email during Friday, as I was not in the IETF venue. I just got my email on the Narita airport, on my way to home.

A minor correction in my part ;-)

Run by main telcos in each locations. The operation and participation in the project is done by their reasearch arms. In Spain TID
(Telefonica R&D) and Consulintel operate it.

Actually 80% of the networs is up and running, but we want to announce all together.

Linked also to 6Bone and 6NET (NRN and academia mainly, some industry, towards experiment with IPv6 to deploy it in GEANT in 3 years
or sooner)

All the links are 34 Mbits.

17 partners are connected to the network for additional research on network topics and applications. The partners connect usually
with 8 Mbps. links to the IXs.
