Is there a conventional way to represent a numeric IPv6 address along with a port as a string? With v4, many applications would interpret a ":" as introducing a port number, i.e. "telnet 127.0.0.1:9999". Obviously that doesn't work well with v6 addresses. Any recommendations for the best way to do something like that with v6? --------------------------------------------------------------------- The IPv6 Users Mailing List Unsubscribe by sending "unsubscribe users" to [email protected]
