This week I am covering IPv6 and Distributed Systems for the IEEE Computer Society's Distributed Systems Online. I would like to have a phone conversation with an expert in this arena as early as possible this week. Here's the territory I need to cover: Distributed Computing and IPv6 Numerous experiments are underway that apply the Internet Protocol version 6 and Pervasive Computing together, including: a) embedding chips with their own IP addresses into clothing, furniture, homes, and home appliances in order to regulate them more efficiently; b) IPv6 and wireless to enable more attractive wireless e-commerce; and c) other Distributed Computing and IPv6 applications. I need to discuss these and comparable areas with an emphasis on the distributed computing aspects.
