Can you do a 'ping6 marge.sylvia.test' ?

Ordering of arguments has some significance, use the -V always as the
first option, eg:

$ iperf -c 2001:db8:1:1:210:dcff:fe20:7c7c -V
multicast ttl failed: Invalid argument
connect failed: Connection refused
<SNIP>

Now we get a multicast error!?

$ iperf -V -c 2001:db8:1:1:210:dcff:fe20:7c7c
connect failed: Connection refused
<SNIP>

Now we don't get that warning. Thus option handling seems to be a bit odd.

Debian packages have been working fine for quite some time:
