Unfortunately, IIS 6.0 only supports IPv6 for web (HTTP), and not FTP. See http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/WindowsServer2003/Library/I IS/1ecff3af-36c2-41b5-957a-8bcc6fac8abc.mspx And since some forms of FTP embed IP addresses in the data stream, it's not one of those services you can easily plug portproxy in front of and get IPv6 translation that way. --Brian ________________________________ From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Jason Gauthier Sent: Thursday, 01 December, 2005 13:32 To: [email protected] Cc: [email protected] Subject: FTP Server (IIS) & IPv6 I know how to set up an IIS FTP server quite easily and I'm wondering how I can make it work with IPv6 because it doesn't seem to work, or I have to do something special that I don't know. I'm using IIS 6.0 on Windows 2003 Server SP1 Thanks --------------------------------------------------------------------- The IPv6 Users Mailing List Unsubscribe by sending "unsubscribe users" to [email protected]
