/list restrictions

Hi,

I was talking to someone from another IRC network (Mark Rutherford,
currently in #blitzed as Mark-, of freequest.net if you care) and he
was telling me about what they did to their /list command to combat
spambots.

Basically, they removed it and replaced with with /fqlist.  Their
current /list just tells people to use /fqlist.  As a result,
spambots connect and then just go away, because they think there are
no channels.

Now, at first, this seems like a really crap thing to do.  Pretty
annoying to type /list and have it not work.  And IRC is meant to be
a standard.

So I got to thinking, what if we made a /blist command that was an
alias for /list, and then made /list tell people to use /blist *only
if they weren't using a registered nick*?

Since no spambots are currently able to register nicks on Blitzed,
this would put an end to them for a good long while.  Think of it -
no spambots in any channel!  All those channels that set +R or +s to
get rid of them woulkd be able to unset these modes, and our /list
would look bigger than ever before.

The regular users with registered nicks would not notice any
difference since /list would continue working as normal.

Only those few people who refuse to register nicknames would be
forced to use /blist instead.
