i think we have around 150 regular chatters from germany, and there is
obviously no need for two servers in germany.
my reason to link a new server was, that there was no other german
server when i submitted the application.

grifferz, i told you last week that i am probably not the administrator
you would like to have, so i completely understand if you all vote for
coffee - and coffee has much better routes.

but i would really like to learn more about ircds and stuff like that,
and linking a server to a 'real' irc network would help a lot - and, as
phil already mentioned, i have much more time. at least 6 hours a day.

ps: debian gnu/linux installation on pizza went well. there are only a
few problems with the bootloader left. i'm looking forward to get the
server online until 6pm utc. (i thought debian would be a much better
system for a server than suse :))
