I extracted the mangling code from the ircd into a standalone
executable:  http://cvs.blitzed.org/hostmangle/

If you wonder what your host might look like, or if you want to
check if certain hosts that have Ips embedded in them are masked
properly, you can pipe hostnames through that in large quantity to
see what they will end up mangled as:

$ echo "laudanum.strugglers.net" | ./mangle
laudanum.strugglers.net -> blitzed-D7908847.strugglers.net

Note that this is using the keys from the testnet; once put into
service different keys would be used so all the hex values in the
mask would be different.
