Fixed.  I don't know how this ever worked without php4-gd.

PS It would be good if someone would volunteer to take IRPG onto
   their own server.  I believe CrazySpence and Tux both have access
   to the home directory where all its files are, so once a
   volunteer is found you only need to contact me to change the DNS.

PPS would anyone like to take ownership of the blitzed.eu.org domain
    also?  It is free, although communicating with eu.org to change
    things can be a challenge..
