I nominate myself for a second term!

I have been a Blitzed user for more than 5 years, half of that as a
member of staff, originally on the OPM team until it was closed down,
then as an oper on mango before admin of tabasco and currently texmex
and of course I am a currently serving member of Executive Board.

Though I am delinking my server after more than a year of service,
having cited losing interest in Blitzed, I do still have some interest
in the network that I have been a part of for so long.

Looking back over the last twelve months little has progressed for us,
OPM is still dead, IRCd and services development has ceased, the
website hasn't yet been moved to the wiki (though dg has begun work
again). According to netsplit we are still shrinking (though by very
little), we are about to lose two servers but they will be replaced by
two new servers, otherwise our stability has continued to be fairly
good.

Going forward I think we need to decide what we want Blitzed to be,
whether it is to maintain the status quo, plodding along as a stable
but not particularly special network, or to make effort to grow again
by adding features (ipv6, ssl, hostmasking to name the three most
obvious), adding value through user interaction (entertainments team
again) or development (ircd, services, opm).
