What is thales? Is this something available for download somewhere, I searched google turned up nothing of interest. I mean I have something similar to this scripted in mirc, but it's inefficient because mirc scripting is sorta slow when Having to write a lot to disk. Yes, if you were to put an "exit" command in after the last thing it does in the cycle. Why you'd want to do this though is beyond me. channelspy was always a hack and what you're proposing is even more of a hack. We use thales now and are very happy with it.
