I can appreciate the fact that you are busy and I would not have approached you if I thought I could resolve the situation any other way. Many of my friends and I commonly use IRC because we like the network and think it is most proberbly the best chat service on the internet (at least that's what I think). Unfortunately my friend developed a problem whilst she was using IRC and I'm sending this email on her behalf. Because we all use the server so much we all agreed that it would be a good idea if we registered our names so that we could use them all the time, after all we do use it frequently. The system itself is fair enough, register a name and then only you can use it whilst you are using the server, so your name cannot be stolen or misused in any way. This brings me to the point, my friend (her email is [email protected] ) found that somehow someone else had managed to hack/ steal the name of JoJo, which was the name she registered. She was upset by this and I was a little angry, but I have had no success in contacting the user, I was wondering if there was anything that you were able to do about the situation?
