VERBIER RIDE 06 - On Eurosport YOZ this

The 6th edition of the Verbier Ride (www.verbierride.com ), presented by Peak
Performance (www.peakperformance.com ) and driven by
Saab (www.saab.com ), turned out to be one
of the best freeskiing events in competition history. The IFSA World
Freeskiing Tour event (www.freeskiers.org ) consisted of athletes
competing in Big Mountain Freeride on Verbier's (www.televerbier.ch / www.verbier.ch ) Mont Gele face. Big
Air and Rail comps also took place during the event. The highest
safety standards were kept with the help of Dainese (www.dainese.com ) as event
sponsors.

This Friday you can catch the whole 26 minute TV programme with YOZ
on Eurosport (www.eurosport.com ) at the
following time: Friday 12th May - 11.30pm (CET,
France/Germany/Switzerland etc) 12midnight (UK Time)

Verbier Ride 05 clocked up over 500 hours of television on the 24 minute
programme across the globe, so you can expect to hear from us more in the coming
months regarding further broadcasts of Verbier Ride 06. Channel 4
(Freesports on 4) in the UK and Extreme Channel across Europe are among the
channels confirmed for the broadcast.

VERBIER RIDE 06 - 29 Minute Extended TV
Programme

You can now view a
special 29 minute extended version of the TV programme on the website
of the event. www.verbierride.com has the extended
broadcast version online on the homepage.
Just click the TV screen to the left of the homepage and the
Windows Media Player web clip will open. Wait a few seconds for the
initial part to load and then watch in real time. It's an extremely high
quality compression that can be viewed in real time with the most basic of
broadband connections. You can even double click the screen and watch it
in full computer screen size.

The full event results and
summary can be viewed from the website also. Just click the orange results
bar on the home page. Here you will find extra clips that you will
not see on the TV programme.

SAAS-FEE RIDE
06 - July 22nd
2006

This coming July will see the 4th
edition of the Saas-Fee Ride www.saasfeeride.com . The competition will be
held on the weekend of the 22nd July 2006 in the stunning glacial
terrain park of the Swiss resort www.saas-fee.ch . The Saas-Fee Ride will
include Half Pipe, Big Air and Rails. If you require further
information about this event check out the website and browse through at your
leisure. All the info is
there.

The event will once
again be filmed and a 24 minute programme will be made and distributed in the
same way as the Verbier Ride. This will give the riders the opportunity to
be broadcast across the globe for several hundred hours of TV time. You
can watch the Saas-Fee Ride 05 right now in real time. Just click the TV
screen on the left side of the homepage and the Windows Media Player
web clip will open.

BRITISH FREESKI (SUMMER) CAMPS 2006 - Saas-Fee,
July

The 7th British Freeskiing performance
training camp will be held summer 2006 in Saas Fee, Switzerland.
Check out www.britishfreeskicamps.com .
The camp, running from the 8-15, 15-22 and 22-29 July, will be focused on
bringing the British freeskiing community closer together and building a basis
for training riders to become top level Big Mountain and New School
competitors. The camp will be run in association with Freeski Britain (the
organisation responsible for the representation of British freeskiers) and
feature an all-star line up of coaches and technical staff.

The camps will cater for intermediate, advanced,
expert and pro skiers. So if you have never been in a terrain park before
and would like to try it out, these weeks are for you. Also, if you want
to learn new tricks, have your skiing videoed and analyzed, get yourself ready
for competition and generally have a cool time in Saas-Fee. Check out the

THE
LONDON RIDE 06 - Urban Freeski
Edition

The 3rd urban
edition of the Ride event series, the London Ride 06, will take place at
the London Olympia on the 19th, 20th + 21st October
2006. The event will be one of the headline features of the Daily Mail Ski
+ Snowboard Show 2006.

International
athletes from across the globe will compete
over the 3 days. All the action will be filmed in High
Definition and a 26 minute TV broadcast is scheduled. For more info on

BRITISH
NATIONAL SNOWSPORTS TOUR 2006 - October 24th to November
4th

After the success of the British
Snowsports Tour 2005, Ride Freesports has scheduled a third tour starting
in October 2006. The official British National Snowsports Tour 2006 will
begin on October 23rd and move around the UK to several Artificial Ski Slopes,
Indoor Real Snow centres and University's.

The aim of the consumer based tour is to
once again encourage non skiers and snowboarders to get involved with
snowsports but also to show skiers and snowboarders how the sports
are developing and becoming more versatile. More news on the tour
including locations, sponsors, and competitions will be announced June
