These aren't errors, it is just what BOPM reports to tell you what
the status of any connection is.  Timed out is when there is no
answer and failed is when there is an answer but it doesn't result
in a connection back to IRC.

In what sense?  The log shows several attempted connections.

What exactly are you saying is wrong?

If you think you're found a proxy that isn't being detected, what
is the IP, protocol and port of it?  Are you checking that
protocol/port?  Can you telnet to it from the machine you're running
BOPM on?
