Personal DNSBL setup?

Hey Hey :)

Me and my IRC staff are wanting to undertake a funky proxy system where we
have a list of MAJOR proxy hub lists and such, and we have a script parse it
and let us work with it.

One idea we have, is to setup our own DNSBL locally that would be handed
these IP listings, where BOPM would check against.

My question is, is the DNSBL source/setup available and documented in any
way todo such a thing? does DNSBL store it's IP listings in MySQL? or in
some sort of flat file?

Any and all info anyone could give me would be great :D
