nameservers error

I've been contemplating this for for awhile

I'm getting this error:
FIREDNS -> No nameservers found in /etc/resolv.conf

If I make my own firedns.conf file in bopm's etc directory, I get the same error.

Even if valid nameservers are placed in there, I get the same error

Formatting is like this(with #s being the IP of course):
nameserver #.#.#.#


Yes the firedns.conf file (if I have it there) is in the correct place.
