BOPM doesn't connect to server

Dear BOPM list,

since this midday, I'm suddenly faced with a strange problem I could
need assistance in resolving.
My BOPM cannot connect to the server anymore. This is from the log file:

[Jan 14 13:30:05 2005] IRC -> Connection to (...) failed, reconnecting.

How can I track down the problem?
