HELP with BOPM

yes first of all im having a problem running the bopm
with out the shell console being open an using the
./bopm -d debug mode it doesnt show any errors but i
cant seem to get it to run with ./bopm .........also
im unclear as to where i put the message to give
clients on connect notice about the scan
