  Hi,

I am Aurelien Delaitre from NIST. We are running an exposition for static=
analysis tools that look for security defects. One of our test cases is Ir=
ssi v0.8.14.

Briefly, participating tool makers ran their tools on a test set of progr=
ams. We analyze the tool reports. Summary reports will be presented at a wo=
rkshop in November. In the spring of 2010, we will make the data, including=
the tool reports, public. More information about the exposition can be fou=
nd at http://samate.nist.gov/SATE.html.

We would appreciate your feedback to make our analysis more accurate. Wou=
ld you be willing to answer our questions about the design of Irssi and als=
o to work with us to examine some tool warnings?

  Regards,

  Aurelien Delaitre
