Disable printing nicks when joining channels

By default, when joining a channel, the list of nicks in that channel is
printed. This is not too obnoxious for small channels, but on some larger
channels, it fills the entire screen with nicks that I have no use for. How can
I disable automatically printing the nicks when joining a channel?

I am using irssi 0.8.15. Thanks!
