Getting rid of hash marks for logs in irssi...

Greetings.

Please CC: me since I am not on the list. I really like the autolog
feature in irssi, but there is one annoyance. Here is my current log
string:

   autolog_path = "~/irclogs/$tag/$0.%F.txt"

The problem is that all of the logs have the # appended to the log
name. Apparently $0 contains the # character. How can I set the
path such that the # does not appear in the log file names? Please
forgive me if this has been asked before. Thanks.
