using newline.pl script

Hello, 

I've been trying to use Newsline.pl with not much success.  I am able to add
and remove rdf feeds, and I have a custom rdf feed and the Heise feed
enabled.  However, when I do /newsline fetch nothing seems to happen.  I'm
not sure if anything is suppose to print to the window?  Also, /newsline
prints the headline text (but no headlines are listed). 

I had to install Test::Manifest, XML::Parser, XML::RSS, & Unicode::String to
a local directory, but I modified the @INC file, and /script load
newsline.pl works fine (doesn't return any errors that it can't find
something), so I don't think it's a module problem (although I could be
mistaken). 

The things is, I'm not sure how normal operation is suppose to look like.
Is there any way to test the script to see if it's hanging up anywhere, or
not running like I'm expecting it to?  I'm new to these scripts, so I'm
finding it's a little hard to figure out if an error exists when recieving a
feed, formatting, or outputting it etc.  Thank you for your help.
