Ignoring CTCPs without hiding them

Hello people,

I've been looking for several hours now, but I can't figure out how to
suppress all replies to CTCP requests. For example, I don't want irssi
to answer to PINGs. I get the desired result by adding an entry * with
level CTCPS to the ignore list, but then anything related to CTCP is
hidden completely; even replies to CTCP requests I've sent to others.

Is there any way to *just* suppress CTCP replies without hiding
anything? A clean way of course (i.e. without changing the source code
or the need to learn Perl).
