Actually servers are not made up of channels, but they virtualize
channels.  Your concept that servers are made up of channels fails, when
you consider that users from all servers may well use one single
channel, which is not part of any server, but of the whole network.

If you only add a single server per network, then you don't really need
the networks concept.  Just add the servers without networks and use
server passwords for identification.

If irssi says that it has added the server, then it's certainly there.
No need to verify (even though I do that, too).

Makes much more sense if done, _before_ you add your own servers.  Then
you can simply type "/server remove <TAB>" each time.  With command
history and word killing (see /bind), this is an easy task (same for
networks).


Eric Dan: there is a brief usage help for every command.  If you need
help with "server", then just type: /help server
