Irssi 0.8.10 Release candidate 8 has been released. It can be downloaded from: http://irssi.org/files/irssi-0.8.10-rc8.tar.gz For a list of changes between 0.8.9 and this see http://svn.irssi.org/repos/irssi/trunk/NEWS Changes between rc7 and rc8: - Fixed return code of term_init (resulted in segfault with invalid TERM and termcap) - When looking up IP addresses, return random IP instead of the first one. - Default to IPv6 enabled - Default recode_transliterate to yes - Using "/VER" in channel now doesn't directly ask CTCP VERSION from it. Channel name or "*" is required as parameter. It still works in query though. - With GLIB >=2.6 hook all glib logging functions no matter what the domains are. - If transliterations don't work in the system (eg. Solaris), don't allow recode_transliterate setting to be enabled. - replace guint by gsize for the glib2 version of irssi_ssl_read like it's defined in GIOFuncs for glib2 - moved src/fe-text/utf8.* to src/fe-common/core - changed get_utf8_char so it returns a status code and the unichar argument pointer to the value that it returned before if there were no errors, so you can check for a negative value an handle the error - Initialize the isupport functions on /upgrade aswell Wouter.
