As always, it depends on your requirements. :) How many registered and
concurrent users do you expect? What features do you need beyond basic
IM and presence? What programming languages are you comfortable hacking
in for the web client if needed (e.g., JavaScript or PHP)? The following

probably ejabberd, jabberd 1.x, Openfire, and Tigase).

http://xmpp.org/software/clients.shtml#web (you can run these clients on
your website).
