As long at the muc component and the jabber server are on the same machine,
then you don't need to reconfigure routers. (all outside connections to the
muc are made through existing s2s connections)

You still need to configure the muc component to connect the the jabber
server on port 31518, on my server it's in /etc/jabber-muc.xml - the
ip/port/secret must match the entries from the jabber.xml file.
