Hi all, We use jabber 1.4.3 on ubuntu, in a web application (accessed with a Flash client), MUC, and a custom authentication service via xdb_auth_cpile. Lately, something weird has been happening. Ever once in a while, users -- usually users who were inactive for a while, say, quarter an hour -- would get disconnected. Now it's getting worse: they don't actually get disconnected, but anything they send simply vanishes into the void, they have to disconnect and reconnect in order to be able to send text again. The logs offer absolutely no clue, they seem to be filled with junk (real name and address replaced with someuser and somesite): 20090617T19:54:18: [warn] (somesite.askonline.net): dropping a get xdb request to someuser|[email protected] for jabber:iq:filter 20090617T19:54:18: [notice] (somesite.askonline.net): bouncing a routed packet to someuser|[email protected] from sessions: Unable to deliver, destination unknown 20090617T19:54:38: [warn] (somesite.askonline.net): dropping a get xdb request to someuser|[email protected] for jabber:iq:filter 20090617T19:54:38: [notice] (somesite.askonline.net): bouncing a routed packet to someuser|[email protected] from sessions: Unable to deliver, destination unknown 20090617T19:54:54: [warn] (somesite.askonline.net): dropping a set xdb request to someuser|[email protected] for jabber:iq:last 20090617T19:54:54: [notice] (somesite.askonline.net): bouncing a routed packet to someuser|[email protected] from sessions: Unable to deliver, destination unknown other than these sorts of entries (BTW, anyone know why they appear?), there's nothing in the error log. We have had this happen with a number of users. Once I logged in myself, and even though I logged in without problems, anything I send just vanished into the void, i had to restart the jabber server. Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be at play here? many thanks in advance. _______________________________________________ JAdmin mailing list FAQ: http://www.jabber.org/discussion-lists/jadmin-faq Forum: http://www.jabberforum.org/forumdisplay.php?f=19 Info: http://mail.jabber.org/mailman/listinfo/jadmin Unsubscribe: [email protected] _______________________________________________
