R2R Connections between more than three Routers

Hello,

My question is specific to the Router-to-Router (R2R) functionality found in
the Jabber XCP implementation of Jabber, so please forgive me if this isn't
the correct forum.  I ask it here, because Jabber XCP is based on the
jabberd and I haven't been able to find any support on the Jabber XCP
website or anywhere else on-line.

In any case, my question is regarding how R2R works, its intent, and whether
or not "routing loops" are possible when using R2R to interconnect three or
more Jabber XCP routers.  I have four Jabber XCP Core Routers interconnected
via R2R connections so users connected to any of the fours servers can
see/search conferences on any server via any of the four server, and also
chat with users on any of the four servers without requiring the server to
use S2S connections.  I would use S2S instead of R2R, but I would loose the
ability to share conference room lists between the fours servers, which is a
key requirement for me.  I do also employ S2S on each server for
communicating with non-Jabber XCP servers.  All typical expected "jabber"
functionality is correctly working in my environment, but after the R2R
connections have initially connected and been working for several hours or
days, the R2R connections no longer connection between the servers.  I've
reviewed the logs and the only apparent error reported states that there is
a "component id" conflict.  It's at this point that I need help with
interpreting this error and finding a resolution.  I'm confused by the error
simply because the connection does initially establish without any errors
and I'm not sure what "component id's" the error is referring to.  Without
any help from the "Help" files or the Jabber XCP website, my only theory is
that this error is being caused by a "routing loop" between my Jabber XCP
Core Routers, because I might be incorrectly employing the R2R capability.
Does anyone have experience with Jabber XCP and R2R that they could share
with me?
