OAuth2 authentication for XMPP server login

Hello all,

I'm interested in implementing OAuth2 authentication in my ejabberd 
server, in order to prevent clients from getting the user's credentials. 
I have asked about this issue in the standards list and was pointed to 
this protocol specification:

http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-kitten-sasl-oauth-08

I was wondering if anyone has this working in its server (apparently 
Google has), and if this can be done with existing open-source or free 
software including the authorization server.
