Hello, I am interesting in translating exodus to greek. I have read the procedure that i must follow and it's quite simple. I already have downloaded the default.po template and done some work on it with poEdit. I have one question though: How can i test my compiled file default.mo with exodus so that i can be sure i am doign it right? When i made the first test i translated some of the strings and then compiled it into default.mo. I then copied the file into the locale/el/LC_MESSAGES directory and started exodus but it failed to start saying that "..exodus has generated some errors and it will be shut down..". Do i have to translate *every* string before i can test the results? I was under the impression that if don't translate a string it will simply take the default value of english. I am using exodus 0.9 under a windows 2000 workstation. Thanks in advance for the help. ---------------------------------------------------- Kostas Georgakopoulos ([email protected]) Systems Administrator University Of Macedonia , Department of informatics Thessaloniki, Greece ----------------------------------------------------
