How to disable join and leave messages in conference room

How can I disable the "user has entered the room" and "user has left the room" messages from appearing in the conference room?
I created the conference room with these properties set to null.  The server is not sending them.  I have my Exodus presence options set to "Don't show any presence changes", but they still appear.  I am using Exodus v0.9.0.
