Ron, What is this fix you speak of?  I'm curious.

I have also seen a similar problem.  It occurs when I update exodus from 
9.0.0 to a newer daily build.  They way around the problem was for me to 
delete my exodus configuration and recreate it with the new daily build. 
  I don't know what was wrong in the old configuration, but I've had 
this happen several times when installing exodus and updating to a daily 
build.  Lost a lot of messages.  It was very annoying.  In any case, 
deleting the configuration and restarting fixed it.  I asked about this 
before and didn't get anywhere with it.
