Yahoo chat rooms with Exodus and Jabber->Yahoo gateway

Hi all,

I'm a relative newbie with Exodus, but I can't figure
out how to make it work with Yahoo chat rooms.

We've got a
corporate Jabber server, which has a Jabber <--> Yahoo gateway. A
bunch of my friends chat in a specific Yahoo chat room and I can't figure
out how to join it. I've tried browsing the Yahoo gateway, manually
adding the chat room, and so on. Can't get through. When I browse the
Yahoo gateway, the window is empty.

I'd appreciate it if
someone could tell me if I'm trying to do the impossible, or if I've just
missed some simple step.

I'm running Exodus 0.9.0.12 on Windows
XP.
