unable to connect to server

Hi,

I'm newbies here using both Jabber and Exodus.  I've installed Jabberd2.0s8
recently with MySQL for storage and authentication.  It was configured with all
default options, such as disable public registration, etc, and it's started
successfully.   Only I wasn't able to connect to it using Exodus (version
0.9.1.0), giving me this error : 

There was an error trying to authenticate you.  Either you used the wrong
password, or this account is already in use by someone else.

I logged in as "admin-9IKiO1iGCm/[email protected]".  User admin was defined in sm.xml to get
access to all, and it was added in MySql to table authreg.  

Can somebody tell me where I configed wrong?
