Joe Hildabrand sent the following on 6/25 to the list when this 
discussion came up before:
"Yes, Exodus development is ongoing.  As a matter of fact, it will 
probably accelerate in the coming months, as Jabber, Inc. starts to add 
code.  The work is being done in the public Subversion repository.  
Jabber, Inc. will be producing a productized version, with some extra 
plugins.

The core of Exodus will benefit from the features, testing, and 
stabilization that should come from this effort.  The first order of 
business has been to go through the plugin API, fixing a couple of 
issues and normalizing the naming scheme.

We still need to figure out how and when to do Exodus releases, daily 
and otherwise.  If someone wanted to take on release manager 
responsibilities that would be very welcome.

We were careful to do the right thing by Peter and his estate, so there 
aren't any intellectual property issues; we had been discussing this 
with him for months before his death."
