The difference between HKLM and HKCU (was How do I search the Exodus Archives?)

Actually I was trying to differentiate between these two:

MUI_LANGDLL_REGISTRY_ROOT HKLM

and

MUI_LANGDLL_REGISTRY_ROOT HKCU

My wild guess is that HKLM means Exodus will be installed for all users and
HKCU means for current user only... am I right?
