Please note that it is important to read the new Microsoft Patent
6,631,412 along with their earlier patent:

I reported the earlier patent to the IM-Patents list on the day it was
issued.

Also, please note that there are IM-related patents being issued
virtually *every* week as well as many IM-related patent applications
begin published. (New patents are issued on Tuesday, new applications
are published on Thursdays...)
